Past Travels

Make yours @ BigHugeLabs.com

The first twenty years of my travel life were mostly within the United States, with a few trips to Canada, Mexico and Germany; however, that all changed when I studied abroad in Barcelona my junior year of college. I fell in love with the city, the energy and the culture and spent the better part of four months exploring Barcelona during the week and a different European city every weekend.  Returning home was a rude awakening and ever since then I have been plotting and planning on when I get back out exploring. Some of my favorite travel destinations of the past two decades include:

North America

  • United States –  There are too many to name, but I have lived in Boston, New York and Washington DC.  Some of my highlights include Charleston, Savannah, New Orleans, San Diego, Seattle, Chicago, the Grand Canyon, the whole state of Maine and many others. I am currently at 28/50 states with two new states planned this year!
  • Canada – Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria
  • Mexico
  • Cayman Islands
  • St. Thomas
  • St. Maarten
  • Aruba
  • Bermuda
  • Jamaica

Europe

  • Germany – Cologne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin
  • Greece – Athens, Santorini
  • Czech Republic – Prague
  • Austria – Vienna, Salzburg
  • Spain – Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Besalu, Girona and more
  • France – Paris
  • Italy – Rome, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Venice
  • Vatican City
  • The Netherlands – Amsterdam
  • IrelandDublin, Killarney, Cork, Kinsale, Kenmare, Galway, Aran Islands, Sligo, Donegal
  • Hungary – Budapest
  • United Kingdom – England, Scotland, Northern Ireland
  • Iceland

Africa

I still have many continents to visit and I am hoping to make my way to more in the years to come!
